Brown Basmati Rice
Known as the Prince of Rice, Basmati Rice is traditionally grown in the Punjab area of Pakistan and India. Gram's Brown Basmati Rice retains the nutritious bran layer (high in fibre), while retaining a deep aroma, nutty flavour and light but firm texture. If you are looking for a low GI rice this is a must have.
How to use:
Brown Basmati is a medium-grain rice known for its versatility that cooks beautifully and can be used in savoury or sweet recipes. Brown basmati makes a flavoursome side dish suitable for most curries, dhal and hotpots. Ideal for Indian curries & other Middle Eastern dishes. Steamed or boiled, Basmati rice remains separate and is light and fluffy when cooked.
To cook the brown basmati rice add 1 cup : 3 cups of boiling water. Simmer for 15 minutes. When tender and fluffy remove from the heat, cover and allow to cool for 5 minutes.

Storage: Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration recommended in warm climates.
