Gram Foods is located in Melbourne and was born with the purpose of providing businesses a way to simultaneously source the products they require, whilst at the same time reducing waste. Gram Foods supports circular economy and educating businesses on how to reduce and manage their waste.
Gram Sustainable was created with the vision of making it easier for people to eat healthy and live more sustainably. Our retail stores are located in Fitzroy and Elwood and stock a wide range of bulk food, home cleaning and personal care products — all free from single-use packaging all at affordable prices. As a business you receive some in-store perks when you become one of our wholesale customers!
our PRODUCTS
We believe making bulk/sustainable shopping more affordable and accessible is a step towards reducing humankind's mindless use of plastic. By helping change business and consumer habits, we can then influence supply, demand and ultimately reduce the manufacture of plastic.
We prioritise Australian produce to not only support our local growers and economies but to also reduce freight-associated carbon emissions. Where Australian isn't available, we choose the closest region possible and consider fair trade and sustainable farming practices when selecting our products.
how we MINIMISE WASTE
We offer return packaging for refilling. For those who choose not to use reusables, we can help support and educate mindful recycling of any plastics. We are here for any questions you may have to help move your business over to a reusable/refillable container systems.
The OWNER
Qualified as a nutritionist, Natasha Jordan has seen it all when it comes to the food industry and she has seen firsthand how the overconsumption of packaged food is not only harming peoples’ health but is also harming the beautiful planet we live on.
After studying a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutritional Medicine and gaining qualifications in International Public Health, Natasha spent time volunteering overseas presenting nutritional seminars to underprivileged communities in Myanmar.
During her time she realised packaged food consumption is out of control and there is a dire need for people to return to a traditional way of food consumption that rejects packaged foods and encourages understanding each ingredient that goes into their body.
"Bulk food allows you to take back control of what goes into your body, and sustainable shopping protects the environment that houses you and your loved ones."
